Our motto at Jupiter Fire Department is "To Protect, To Be Efficient, and To Be Safe". Every firemen who is on the force realizes the fact that in order to be helpful to the community we in return, must be ready and prepared to quickly respond to each fire or medical need in a very efficient and professional manner.

When the tones go off and we are dispatched to a structure fire, motor vehicle accident, or other type of emergency medical incident, the hundreds of training hours and everyday skills our firemen have undergone are put to the test and utilized. It's wonderful to have the necessary apparatus and the proper tools to effectively do the job, but all of our firemen also realize the fact that our main strength is in the unity of our fellowship of firefighters and most importantly the strength and courage we are given by our Almighty God. Psalm 121:2 says "My help cometh from the Lord, which made Heaven and Earth."

Each time our firemen sit down to a special dinner or prepare to train inside of a "Live Burn" structure fire, we're not ashamed to bow our heads and call upon God for wisdom, strength and safety for each member and thank Him for His abundant blessings on the entire department. Psalms 91:1 tells us "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." From the smallest to largest needs in our community, the mighty grace of God is present with us on each call.

Many lives have been saved from the flames of fire and wreckage due to the quick action and superb knowledge and skills our staff of firefighters have provided during the emergency. We truly believe in the scripture found in Jude 1:23 "And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;" Just as our great US Military has an obligation to protect and oversee America, we as firefighters and EMTs are also very proud to be the first line of Homeland Security in the Jupiter community, as we protect our citizens in time of need. We count it an honor to serve our residents and to proudly wear the uniform with patch and badge which read "Jupiter Fire Department".
